TRANSFORMATION OF LIFE STRATEGIES OF UKRAINIAN YOUTH IN THE CONDITIONS OF WAR

The article reveals the results of a study of the life strategy of Ukrainian youth in the realities of a full-scale war. The analysis of the questionnaire results demonstrates the respondents’ understanding of the concept of “life strategy”, their active life position, and the vision of their own future. The relevance of the research topic is due to the insufficient sociological development of the mechanism of formation and implementation of life strategies of modern youth, as well as the need to substantiate the sociological concept of life strategies of youth in the context of social crisis, taking into account their social and group characteristics.
The purpose of the study is to determine the transformations of life strategies and life-affirming values characteristic of Ukrainian youth in the context of a full-scale war. The goal is actualized by a number of tasks, which include theoretical substantiation of the research problem by analyzing leading scientific sources, empirical study of life strategies of Ukrainian youth; formulation of conclusions, generalizations and determination of prospects for further scientific research on the research problem.
The research was carried out by using a set of theoretical (analysis, generalization, systematization) and practical (questionnaire, self-analysis) methods.
The practical significance of the research findings is to form a general picture of life-affirming values and life strategies of Ukrainian youth, study the peculiarities of their behaviour in specific situations, reveal their inner potential, analyze their ability to respond to challenges, and determine their ability to influence their lives can contribute to the progress of modern society, improve their overall psychological well-being and increase the resilience of each person in martial law. That is, in order to adapt to such challenges and succeed in self-realization, a person needs to develop problem-solving skills and acquire the important personal quality that allows for effective self-realization and control of one’s own behaviour in any life circumstances.
