STUDYING THE LEVELS OF DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIALLY SUCCESSFUL PERSONALITY SKILLS
Abstract
The article deals with studying the levels of development of socially successful personality skills. The article considers scientific works are devoted to problem of development of socially successful personality skills.
The purpose of this article is to analyze the levels of development socially successful personality skills of adolescents. The tasks of this work are to summarize the data about the level of development socially successful personality skills of adolescents.
The theoretical (analysis, comparison and generalization of pedagogical study materials), diagnostic (questionnaire, unfinished sentences method), experimental (statement experiment), statistical (quantitative and qualitative evaluation and comparison of research results) methods were used in the research process.
It is substantiated that the formation of a socially successful personality will promote such skills: assertiveness, optimism, self-esteem, sociability, cooperation, generosity. The process of learning and developing the socially successful person skills is more effective during group activities. As a result, positively organized and indirectly controlled by the teacher group activities can be an effective tool for developing the socially successful person skills.
The data have indicated that adolescents do not have a sufficient idea about characteristics of successful person. At the same time among the answers of the teachers, we could clearly see what skills they consider necessary for a socially successful person: effective communication, goal setting, cooperation, assertiveness.
The researchers concluded that the level of developing of socially successful skills of adolescents (except communicative skills) is insufficient. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct appropriate activities for developing socially successful personality skills of adolescents in the process of further research and experimental work.
