PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS OF EDUCATION OF DETERMINATION OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN THE PROCESS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Abstract

The article reveals the pedagogical conditions for educating the determination of high school students in the process of physical education. The analysis of the psychological and pedagogical literature of the studied phenomenon is carried out and it is clarified what the pedagogical condition is. Using criteria (cognitive, emotional-value, arbitrary impulse, activity-practical, self-worth) and diagnostic methods (interviews, in-person and online surveys, pedagogical observation, questionnaires, debates, test tasks, method of unfinished sentences, analysis of problem situations and others) revealed the levels of education and determination of high school students in the process of physical education (low, medium and high).
The article reveals the pedagogical conditions for educating the determination of high school students in the process of physical education: training of physical education teachers to implement methods of educating the determination of high school students; introduction of pedagogically expedient content, types and methods of educating the determination of high school students in the process of physical culture classes of sports and health orientation; organization of competitive activities in order to form motivation in high school students to play softball, handball, badminton, contactless rugby.
It is concluded that educational work with high school students should be aimed at educating moral and volitional qualities. It is necessary in physical education lessons to use the content, forms and methods, taking into account the interests of modern high school students. It is established that the education of determination is an urgent problem, which is due to the need of society for a self-sufficient, confident, purposeful person who is able to take responsibility, show social activity, achieve goals. The effectiveness of using handball, badminton, contactless rugby in educating determination has been proven.
The practical significance of this study is that its content can be used by teachers, coaches, club leaders in organizing educational activities.
