ORGANIZING PROJECT WORK OF STUDENTS IN INSTITUTIONS OF OUT-OF-SCHOOL EDUCATION
Abstract
The article is devoted to one of the urgent problems of modern psychological and pedagogical science – organizing project work of students in institutions of out-of-school education. Determining the features of this process, appropriate analysis, and generalization of the data obtained during empirical research will be the basis for a methodology for how to work with children regarding the project work of students in institutions of out-of-school education.
The purpose of the article is to analyze the data obtained during the theoretical and empirical study of organizing project work of students in institutions of out-of-school education. According to the set goal, the following tasks are solved: to determine the stages of project work of students in institutions of out-of-school education; to determine the effectiveness of using a set of methods, techniques, and tools for solving creative tasks by students in the process of their project work in institutions of out-of-school education.
The following research methods were used: theoretical analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, study and generalization of innovative pedagogical experience in organizing of project work of students in institutions of out-of-school education, pedagogical observation, conversations, questionnaires, surveys, systematization and classification of the received mass of information, methods of comparative analysis, interpretation and generalization facts.
It has been established that in pedagogical science, the problems of developing and implementing the latest person-oriented pedagogical technologies into the educational process in institutions of out-of-school education, aimed at forming the creative personality of students, are gaining special relevance. One of them, project technology, is focused on cognitive activity in the context of developing the student’s own experience of creative activity, understanding the achieved result, and opportunities for further self-improvement.
The essence of the definition of the educational project has been clarified. The stages of the organization of project activities of students in groups of institutions of out-of-school education are defined: students’ immersion into the problem, organization of activities, implementation of activities, representation of results, self-evaluation, and self-analysis.
