COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES FOR EFFECTIVE INTERCULTURAL UNDERSTANDING IN THE CONTEXT OF CULTURAL DIVERSITY
Abstract
Globalization plays a significant role in today’s world and cultural diversity has become not just a realistic phenomenon but also a key factor in interaction. In this context, the issue of effective intercultural communication is a high priority. The article aims to explore and define communication strategies that facilitate successful intercultural understanding in the context of cultural diversity. The main goal of the research is to analyze the features of intercultural communication in different contexts and to study the European experience in this field. The objectives are to develop strategies that will promote high-level communication between representatives of different cultures. The research used the following methods: analysis and generalization of scientific and pedagogical sources on the analyzed problem; methods of interpretation and generalization of facts regarding communication strategies for effective intercultural understanding in the context of cultural diversity.
Theoretical aspects encompass key concepts of intercultural communication and an analysis of the influence of the cultural context on the communication process. Practical challenges that arise when communicating in different cultural environments are examined in a section dedicated to strategies for adapting communication approaches.
This study also covers the psychological aspects of intercultural communication, including the influence of stereotypes. The section on technology and tools investigates how modern technologies can enhance communication in various cultural settings. A crucial part of the article offers practical advice for individuals and organizations aimed at facilitating intercultural understanding. Considering the research findings, we emphasize the key aspects that contribute to successful communication in the context of cultural diversity. In the article’s conclusions, recommendations are provided for further improving communicative strategies in the context of cultural diversity taking into account contemporary realities and globalization trends.
