EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY OF INSTITUTIONS OF OUT-OF-SCHOOL EDUCATION IN COMBAT CONDITIONS

Abstract

The article emphasizes that in war, the importance of education is exceptional. Out-of-school education in this sense has significant advantages, given its specificity, such as mobility, variability, social and pedagogical orientation, voluntary, accessibility and possibility in various forms (studio, hobby club or other creative association); orientation to inclusivity and barrier. In wartime, educators of institutions of out-of-school education carry out not only educational, but also public activity, provide psychological support and organize interesting leisure for children who have left their homes. Nowadays, there are important numerous educational, methodological, educational projects, as well as actions, measures, volunteer projects, etc., aimed at psychological support for children and adults in wartime. In particular, children, who were displaced, left their homes, need psychological support.
The purpose of the article is to analyze the data obtained as a result of theoretical and empirical study of clarification of the development of the necessary material for implementing into the practical activity of institutions of out-of-school education.
Analysis of theoretical generalizations and practical experience of the activities of institutions of out-of-school education revealed the contradictions between the need for institutions of out-of-school education in the methodological support of the process of formation of safe behavior in emergencies and the lack of such security. In order to fulfill this request, a crosscutting curriculum of out-of-school education of the health direction “Basics of life safety in combat conditions” was developed, as well as methodological recommendations for it.
The results of a survey of pedagogical staff of educational institutions, which was conducted to clarify the development of the necessary material for introduction into the practical activity of institutions of out-of-school education.
It was found that educators want to use ready-made methodological recommendation and advice in educational process in order to develop students’ skills of safe behavior in emergencies. The conclusions emphasize that out-of-school education plays an important role in wartime.
