THE STATE OF MILITARY-PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF YOUNG ADOLESCENTS IN THE PROCESS OF SPORTS AND GAME ACTIVITIES: ANALYSIS OF RESEARCH RESULTS
Abstract
The article is devoted to the topical problem of military-patriotic education of young adolescents in the process of sports and play activities in order to use the educational potential of military sports games in the educational process in physical education and extracurricular activities of general secondary education.
Based on the analysis of psychological, sociological and pedagogical literature, as well as modern concepts, programs, generalization and systematization of advanced pedagogical experience, the essence of the concept of “military-patriotic education of young adolescents in the process of sports and games activity” was determined is a purposeful activity that involves the introduction of forms and methods of military-patriotic education, which are used in military sports games to implement effective educational influences on younger adolescents in order to develop patriotic consciousness, love for the Homeland, readiness to defend it.
With the help of criteria (cognitive, emotional-value, motivational, activity-practical) and diagnostic methods (interviews, questionnaires and testing of younger adolescents) high, medium and low levels of military-patriotic education of younger adolescents were revealed).
Comparison of the obtained results with scientific achievements concerning certain aspects of military-patriotic education of younger adolescents in the process of military sports games revealed that the presented research confirms and expands the results of scientific research mentioned in the article.
The scientific novelty of the researched problem is that for the first time the problem of military-patriotic education of younger adolescents in the process of sports and game activity is investigated.
