REQUIREMENTS FOR THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS WITH REGARD TO THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF DIGITAL PEDAGOGY
Abstract
The article reveals the requirements for the educational process in higher education institutions in the context of digitalization of the modern society. The general characteristics of the digital generation of today's student youth are considered. It is emphasized that, today, in the digital society, the possibilities of quick access to the latest digital technologies determine the way of thinking and behavior of young people. Based on the analysis of the findings of the modern researchers in the field of digital pedagogy, the basic requirements for the organization of the educational process at higher education institutions in a rapidly digitalizing modern society are outlined. They are as follows: providing detailed information and self-defined learning aimed at developing students’ autonomy; personalized learning, which involves the construction of an individual learning trajectory with the mandatory development of an individual plan of learning; the use of active methods of learning (role-playing games, quests, etc.), gamification and simulation, which focuses on the metacognitive involvement of students in educational activities and is characterized by a high degree of interactivity, motivation and emotional attitude to the perception of the educational material; correlation of digital pedagogy with lifelong learning. It is noted that the practical implementation of the model of continuing education justifies the need to form and improve the basics of digital literacy depending on the sphere of human life. It is emphasized that digital learning contributes to developing continuous motivation of young people to acquire new, most objective knowledge, relevant skills and abilities. It is determined that the use of the findings and means of digital pedagogy in the educational process has also led to a change in the traditional pedagogical conceptual apparatus and the emergence of new pedagogical phenomena that require research into their content.
