CONTINUITY IN MPLEMENTING THE PROGRAM-METHODOLOGICAL COMPLEX “SURE START” AT DIFFERENT STAGES OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATION
Abstract
The article is devoted to the disclosure of the following possibilities of content and procedural characteristics of implementing the program-methodological complex «Sure Start» of different age groups of preschool education as a factor in ensuring the quality of preschool education. Among the leading principles of implementing program-methodological complex “Sure Start” as an educational system of continuity has a special place as a principle that should ensure unity, interconnection and consistency of purpose, content, methods, forms of education and upbringing taking into account age characteristics of children at related levels education.
The purpose of the article is to reveal the continuity of the content and procedural characteristics of the implementation of the program-methodological complex «Sure Start» of different age groups of preschool education as a factor in ensuring the quality of preschool education.
Comparative analysis of educational programs “Sure Start” and methodological support for them for children of junior, middle and senior preschool age gave the opportunity to identify common and different principles and approaches how to organize the educational process, purpose, content, models of educational process, methods and means of teaching, education and development of children, to trace continuity in the mentioned elements of the organization of childhood. Common to all age groups is the methodological basis of the educational system «Sure Start», which ensures an integrity of all its components and the unification of interests and efforts of all participants, as well as the focus on creating a happy living environment for children. The continuity of the introduction of the program-methodological complex «Sure Start» is also ensured by the unity of the mechanisms of formation of the child’s personal potential and value priorities. Common to all age groups identified elements create the necessary conditions for the successful implementation of age-specific content, special organization of the educational process and work with the rules.
